Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plays a crucial role in ensuring that Higher Education educators remain efficient in their teaching practice, informed, and also able to adapt their teaching practices in order to meet the needs of students in specific contexts at specific times. CPD goes hand in hand with lifelong learning, and it is very much related with being abreast of technological advancements and staying up-to-date with the latest changes in pedagogy. This plan should be revisited regularly and adjusted to the needs of the educator every time these needs change.
