SDG 16 aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
All democratic societies need strong, fair, and transparent institutions. However, in many countries, groups and individuals are persecuted and face injustice and abuse.
We must work toward strong institutions, global justice and accountability for those who commit injustices.
