Leaving no one behind (LNOB) is the central aim of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals.
This means that all UN Member States should work to eradicate poverty in all its forms, end discrimination and marginalization and reduce inequalities. Leaving people behind reduces individual potential and that of humanity as a whole.
LNOB aims to help bring the poorest of the poor out of the cycle of poverty, but discrimination and inequalities must be addressed for this to be possible.
